authentication problem connecting to Dynamics 365 on-premise

dynamics 365 v8.2 on-premise and we are in a IFD environment.

we're trying to use powerbi desktop to connect OData source provided by dynamics 365.

everything works fine in the browser if i access the ODATA uri directly (authentication process goes to ADFS first then jump back),  but when in pbi, it gives me the response below.

sorry the screenshot is in chinese.  but basically it says: ' specified url neither points to OData svc, nor a redirect url'

anyone has a clue? thanks

Hi trivita,

At fiest, you need to claer the permission of Dynamic 365 in your PowerBI by click Eidt Qeries->DataSource Setting->claer permission. Then try to re-connect  to Dynamic 365, make suer your URLis correctly and use orgnization account. You could refer to POWER BI DYNAMICS 365 THE GIVEN URL NEITHER POINTS TO AN ODATA SERVICE OR A FEED  and How to Connect to Dynamics 365 Data from PowerBI Desktop  for details.

Best Regards,
Zoe Zhi
