are pages really limited to what you see on the desktop

Hi.  I went to drag my next textbox below my lowest visuals and got the sense pbi isnt going to let me make the current page any longer than what i see on the desktop.  Is that how pbi works?

If you click on the page (and NOT a visual) then you can go to the format painter and change the size of your page. This includes the ability to have a custom size for your page. Would be nifty if it was more automatic as you described but it is possible.
