"Generateseries" by year and month

Dear all

I am trying to insert an index (Year_Month_Number) in my date table by using GENERATESERIES, but it does not work. 

Can anyone kindly teach me how to do it?

@Anonymous Check out Sequential, it was built using week numbers but should be easy to adapt it.
