add values from column when values in another column match

Hi,

I have a table with a ton of columns, most of which I don;t really need. One column has a dollar amount, and there's another column that has an ID. The column with the ID has duplicate values, and what I'm trying to do is sum the values in the dollar amount column of each unique ID. Here is an example of the structure of my table (my actual table has way more columns but these are the only two that matter for what I'm trying to do)

Here is what I want the table to look like

Please let me know if there is a way I can do this in the Power Query editor

Thanks!

Hi @jakeudy ,

In the query editor select the group by and then select the ID as grouping and the sum of the dollar value.

Please check the documentation about grouping in the query editor.

Regards

Miguel Félix
