Zoom out on Gantt chart?

I'm using Power BI to track multiple enterprise projects and have them entered into a gantt chart [pictured below]. Some projects have multiple year durations so I currently have to scroll quite a bit to see milestones into next year. My current gantt chart is showing roughly 4-5 dates per month, which seems unnecessary for my needs. Is there a way to only show one date a month, or one date every quarter? I'd ideally like to view all projects start to finish without scrolling as it would produce a cleaner visual. My date is synced for Project online and the zoom out function works great on that application- any ideas?

Thank you Gantt.PNG

SOLUTION:

Select your Gantt Chart within your Page

Select the Format Tab (Paint Roller Icon)

Scroll down to "Date Type"

Update the "Type" dropdown from 'Week' to your desired setting

  • Second
  • Minute
  • Hour
  • Day
  • Week
  • Month
  • Quarter
  • Year

Works perfect, thanks!

I figured it out by toggling with the Format [paintbrush] feature.

Thanks!

Can you explain further?  What are you clicking on first to take the format and apply it to the gantt chart?
