Hi brains trust,
I have created some maps using shapefile with a custom map downloaded from the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
The maps look great in the app but in the browser window, zero values appear to be treated as missing.
See below the issue. The top picture shows the browser/published version which is missing info for the area bottom left.
The bottom picture shows the desktop app version as it should look.
Any help resolving this would be much appreciated.
Cheers
Hi @JonathanK ,
Does your custom map can be get from Power BI Visual Marketplace? Sorry for that, but we can not reproduce this issue with the build-in filled map in Power BI Service.
Does the tooltip have zero value when you move focus on the blank area in Power BI Service?
Please don't have any Confidential Information or Real data in your reply.
Best regards,
Hi Dong Li,
Shape Map can be enabled in preview features and isn't a custom map (I don't think?)
Here is a link on how to enable it.
Cheers,
Hi @JonathanK ,
Actually we test with this shape map that be enabled in Preview Feature, but we notice that you used custom map in your origin post, do you mean that you use replace map in shape setting?
Best regards,
Yes sorry for the misunderstanding.
I have used a custom map from the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
As I said though it works fine in the desktop app but in the browser zero values are showing up as missing.
Any reason for the inconsistency in how these data are presented.
By the way I have tried changing data type in the data viewer but it has had no effect.
