Year in reverse order in slicer when added from a date dimension table

I have a standard date dimension table. When I add the year into a slicer and change it into a list, its order reverses. Please see screenshot. I did not do anything other than drop a slice,add the year and then just change the slicer style. I frequently use year slicers and wonder if this is due to the May upgrade.

If you click the ellipsis in the slicer frame, you get the option to "Sort By Date." Click the "Z>A" arrow, and your order should rearrange.
