YTD Variance

How would I show the variance between this year and last year according to the total sales that were dated up until today ( [year to date] rolling date ).

HI @Anonymous,

 

I agree with vanessafvg's point of view, but if you want ot use SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR/DatesYTD, you need a related calendar table and use these functions with calendar date to filter.

@Anonymous  not sure you would be able to as YTD is as it says its YTD and unles you can adjust the calendar to parse only the part of the year you interested in.

 

what about using SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR with DatesYTD
