XIRR Aggregation

I am trying to create an xirr measure that calculates the proper internal rate of return on different hierarchy values. For simplification, I have a 2-chain hierarchy ( Development Name > Asset Name).

I am using the basic formula implementation for XIRR() and it gives me the right IRR by Asset Name from a table of cash flows by date and asset.

When I aggregate up to the Development Name level, it only wants to sum the asset IRRs or another aggregation type. What I am hoping it does is take the IRR of the aggregated cash flows rather than say an arithmetic average of the asset-level IRRs.

Hi @Anonymous

Not quite understand your requirements, kindly check below threads whether helps, if not, you might consider creating pbix file that will contain some sample data (remove the confidential info), upload the pbix to onedrive for business and share the link to the file. Please do not forget to describe the expected results based on this sample data.
