X axis not aligned after having sort the data through a group

Hi !

I've a tiny problem but impossible to fixe it !

I created a visual Clustered column chart counting the number of documents per slot of delay:

- on time

- less than one week

- more than one week

- more than two weeks

- more than three weeks

- more than one month...

Pb: the bars are sort in alphabetic order:

- less than one week

- more than one month

- more than one week

- more than three weeks

- more than two weeks

- on time...

I've also created a group for each of them (right click > group by):

- group 1 includes on time

- group 2 includes less than one week

- group 3 includes more than one week

- group 4 includes more than two weeks

- group 5 includes more than three weeks

- group 6 includes more than one month...

Then I replaced the value slot of delay by slot of delays (groups)

Great, the order is correct BUT the bars are not aligned anymore.

Do you have an idea ?

Note: someone proposed to change the type of X axis through the forat panel but it is not available despite I'm working with December 2017 version...

Thanks for your attention.

Regards,

CR

@CR,

I am not clear that how you group the column. I make a test in my Desktop as below, everything works well.

If you want to sort the slot of delay column by specific orders, you can add conditional column as shown in the following screenshots, then sort the slot of delay column by the custom column.

Thanks Lidya,

It works fine now because... I've jsut changed the visual. Indeed, with the clustered column chart, it didn't work (not aligned) but with the stasked column chart, it is great (really aligned). I will also use this one.
