Has anyone came across the option to manually change the X and Y axis titles in a Line and Clustered Column Chart.
It seems a bit odd that you cannot type in whatever you want as the axis titles.
I have several values inserted for line values and my Y axis makes no sense as a result of this.
Hi Jcarville,
I have one idea , i would like to share here , correct me if am wrong !!!
1. Create one new table with Your Measure which u want to change.
2. Create new Measure
Line Measure =
SWITCH(
CALCULATE(ALLSELECTED('Measures Master'[Bar Measure])),
"Logged Hours",SUM(Sheet1[Logged Hours]),
"Idle Time",SUM(Sheet1[Idle Time]),
"Non Productive TASF",SUM(Sheet1[NonProductive (TAFS)]))
3. Drag the Line measure in Line chart (or wherever u want)
4. Keep Line measure in Slicer with single selection and then try .
note :
If non is selected in filter u need to hide , that we can deal with another logic no issue.
Try this let me know .
Nope, haven't seen that. You can turn off the axis titles and change the Title text for the entire visual, but haven't seen that feature. I'd create an Idea if it is not there already, but I suspect it already is.
There was 2/3 similar ideas but they got little traction which is surprising as it seems like it would be a pretty neat feature.
I have added an idea here, https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/14742582-change-x-and-y-axis-labe... , a vote would be appreciated if you agree. Lets get this noticed.
Hi @jcarville,
I'm standing on your side. And I have helped you vote on your idea item.
