Hi,
I have a area chart showing transactions by day. Generally all is fine but if by using a slicer the chart is reduced down to show only a few days then the chart decides to add extra labels on the X-Axis inbetween dates (as there is now space). See this example.
In this chart there are only five data points, one for each day.
The date column I'm using on the X-Axis is set to format (via Modelling -> Format) to dd/MM/yyyy. The underlying date dimension is constructed via DAX using code available here.
The axis is set to continuous, when I change it to categorical this issue goes away and I get one label per day but as you can see I have a trend line showing on the chart and I can only show that when it is set to continuous.
So how do I remove the time element to the X-Axis labels?
