Wrong date from SharePoint-List

Hi Community

I have a problem with a report. I create a report from a sharepoint list. In the SP-List there is a date column "abgeschlossen am":

12-06-_2019_10-21-01.jpg

This column has the format "date". Unfortunately in my powerbi report it shows me the wrong date:

12-06-_2019_10-24-48.jpg

I also check the power query, and also there is the wrong date:

12-06-_2019_10-26-30.jpg

Can you give me a hint, what the problem might be here? Thanks for your help.

I can confirm this problem still exist in Excel 365. All dates taken from SharePoint list via Power Query are shifted by 1 day...

Hello all

I am experiencing the same issue:

SharePoint list:

In Power BI

I have tried to adjust timezone, did not help.

I have tried to rebuild the PowerBI from scratch, did not help.

And there is a constant mismatch of 1 day.

I've just seen that probably all the date fields are "shifted" by one day:

SP:

12-06-_2019_10-55-4133.jpg

Powerbi:

12-06-_2019_10-58-20pbi.jpg

Is it maybe some kind of timezone settings problem? I've check in SP, there is the right timesettings.

HI @Anonymous ,

I think it may related to 'UTC - Local' datetime convert or daylight saving time.

 Hi @v-shex-msft

Thanks for your post. I saw this information on top of this article:

Update:  The Power BI service was recently updated such that DateTimeZone.ToLocal() now uses the client time zone which means the solution below is no longer needed to resolve the problem discussed.

The strange thing is that my client timezone is the same like in sharepoint.

Of course, i also try to delete the date in the SP-column and add the date "01.05.2019" again.

And i also tried to create a new Pbi-report as well. Same problem...
