Hello!
I have two tables connected, both sharing a column with a text string code for identifying products. THe weird thing is Power BI does not match the codes correctly. Some it does, other it doesn't.
Any thoughts where I'm doing something wrong?
Thanks a lot!!

@Rate,
Does the Maestro-Cigarillos table contain all the possible ID_Maestro_Cigarillos values of Cuestionarios-Previsio table? Could you please share sample data of the two tables so that I can test?
Regards,
Lydia

Hello Lydia,
Really grateful for your answer. I kept looking into the problem and there was an issue with the underlying tables that was generating the mismatch between ID_Maestro_CIgarrillos. It is solved now!
Thanks a lot!
So, a common issue with this is beginning or ending spaces or capitalization. Doesn't look like the latter is the issue so I would right click your columns in your queries and do a Trim and a Clean and see if you get better matching.
Hello Greg,
Thanks a lot for the advice, but, in my case, Trim and Clear did not solve my issue. Any other thoughts?
Thanks dearly!
