Hi there,
I am stuck with an issue. I've imported 10 tables using PBI Desktop from oracle, and created the joins as well. Things were fine till here. Now I've to add a coulumn to the master table (e.g. Table_1), Now this new column is based on some complex queries and sub querie. I was thing to use the oracle queries directly to populate the new column.
Will that be possible in Power BI, coz back in SAP BO, we were able to write sql in IDT. I am new to powerBI.

Hi @GLIDO,
You are able to put Native Query to a connection as I show on the screenshot even when importing data.
Please try.

Hi @GLIDO,
When connecting to any relational database you can mention Native Query in Advanced options. See example below:

Hi Zolo,
The thing is I've to import the tables and cannot use the direct query option.
Hence, I was trying the approach of first fetching the whole set of data and then filtering the data as per the needs, by using the sql queries.
Thanks
