I honestly believe the developers intentionally made their calendar and time in Power BI with the purpose to annoy people.
Over and over again i run into the most stupid problems by default settings.
I have my month and year specified in the fiscal year/period. However, Power BI decided to skip every second month by default.
Anyone know how to fix this? and why would anyone want to do this by default?
Next, in the query editor, Power BI by default want to change my year to 1905. Why... seriously... Anyone know how to fix this?
Solved! Go to Solution.
For the first issue, have you tried changing the x-axis to categorical data instead of continuous? You can't really do this for line charts but it should work for a ba chart.
regarding 2) - year in your example is clearly not a Date type, it's Integer
when you force the change 2017 to a Date type it assumes 2017 days from 31 Dec 1899
why do you think the Year needs to be of type Date?
