Workday Integration file (Web) into Power BI

Hi All,

I am trying to get data from the web (workday integration file) into my power pi desktop.  I keep getting the below error:

Unable to connect.  "we encountred an error while trying to connect. Details: The operation has timed out"

i have tried the advanced option and set the command timeout in minutues, but I still can't get my data to load from the web.

any ideas why?

would it be an issue with my URL? you wouldnt have access to the URL that I would share...

Is it a public URL or a URL where you need to add credentials?

it is not a public URL

Hi @mmills2018

Try to add timeout setting advance editor in Power Query.

You may refer to this blog for more details: Query Timeout on update

Hi @mmills2018

Your error shows that something in your source doesn't exist.

Is DHR_... or a value, a column or a table in your data source?

Did you remove something in your datasource?

It seems that your datasource is not public.

Have you add your username and passwords into your query when you got data from power query?

For more details: Blog

In data source setting, please remove the existing connection for web and try one more time.
You can also set the permission level while editing the data source.

Best Regards,

Rico Zhou
