Will changing a Sharpoint site URL affect reports that use files hosted on that site?

I have a power bi report that connects to sharepoint contoso.sharepoint.com/sites/foo

if I change the URL to contoso.sharepoint.com/sites/bar from Sharepoint Admin Center, will the report have to be updated to reflect the new name of the site?

@agneum , I am assuming under Transform Data -> dataset setting -> edit connection/permission you have changed the URL.

If the base details remains same it should work

The report has already been published. There are multiple reports using the specific URL. Would I have to republish those reports?

@agneum , if changing it at SharePoint can help to redirect and it works, then you can try

Otherwise, you have to share it at each source.

Consider dataflow if same source need to used at multiple places
