Why won't this column total?

Same syntax and logic for the columns that have totals at the bottom... table level as well as the visual are set to SUM.. however, this column isn't totaling right

Calc Stories Uncompleted =
IF('Sprint Burndown'[Date].[Date] < 'Sprint Burndown'[Sprint End Date].[Date]
&& 'Sprint Burndown'[State Category] = "InProgress", 1,0)

Hi @singleton2787 ,

Yes, that is what I would generally recommend. Create a measure like SUM ( Table[Column] ).

Hope this helps 🙂

Hi @singleton2787 ,

I assume Calc Stories Uncompleted is a calculated column, correct?

Have you chosen SUM in the column list in your visual? Like this one:

Note, this is not a best practice, since this is creating a so called "implicit measure". A better way to do this is to create an explicit measure on your calculated column and then using this one in your visual.

Let me know if this helps 🙂

It is a calculated column on a line graph so it will only aggregate I'm assuming. Are you saying create a measure and use that instead?
