Why is my trend value units showing as M instead of K?

Hi guys,

I have a trend line that shows as M instead of K.

The Display units is already set to Auto.

The lowest value is 174k and the highest is 544k.

If it's set to auto, it should show as K.

This is showing as weekly value.

Monthly value is showing correctly though.

The reason why I want to show it as Auto because we want to get the exact unit when filtering it out by country.

Any ideas how to correct this?

Hi @swaggerboy69 ,

Please have a try.

Click the visual. Then click the format>> Data label. Then change the display units to Thousands.

Thanks for your answer.

I agree we can do that but when I filter it out to countries with only hundreds as values, it shows as 0.0K.

I want it to be able to get the exact unit/value.

Hi @swaggerboy69 ,

Could you please provide a simple sample or an example? In what form does 0.0k appear?

Here you go.

So I filter this to a specific country.

Notice how the Axis only shows up to 150 then the values on the graph shows 0.012K for example.

If I use Auto, it shows the actual number.

Hi @swaggerboy69 ,

Maybe a better way is to create a measure.

Measure = MAX('Table'[value])/1000

I tried creating a measure but a SUM of the values but the issue remains.

Hi @swaggerboy69 ,

Base on the measure you have created.

Create another.

measure2=var _a=[measure]
var _b=summarize(table,'table'[date],"aaa",[measure])
return
IF(HASONEVALUE('table'[date]),_a,SUMX(_b,[aaa]))

Thank you for your response.

I created a measure based on your response but the issue still remains.
