Hello All.
In my query I have some data that looks like this:
Commissions
23.45
33.56
67.89
As you can see, it correctly shows the decimal points.
However, in my report view, for the same column, it seems to have rounded up to a whole number, so I get:
Commissions
24
34
68
How can I show the correct values above, with the decimal places, in report view, like it is in the query?
Many thanks for your time.
Hi @ianwuk,
Please select the [Commissions] column, then, choose the Decimal Number option under data type format.
By the way, what is your desktop version? If possible, could you please share your .pbix file so that I can check for you?
Regards,
Yuliana Gu
Try this:
Go to query editor
Select the column causing rounding issue
Right click Transform> Absolute Value
Close and Apply
That resolved my issue. I was in Direct Query Mode.
Kind Regards
look for the data type change in formatting tab
Hello.
The data formatting tab is greyed out in report view, so I cannot change anything. Is there another way?
click on the column in the tables tab,the data formatting will enable
