Why can't I sum when I use int as type of table?

I create table as follows:

create external table if not exists thrive.mobileossummary (
osname string,
osversion string,
cntnum int ) ...

But I can't use cntnum to sum the data, WHY?

Your description is not clear for me. How did you create your table? Where and why did you create the sum cntnum measure?

The failure of creating a measure can be depended on many factors. So could you please share us more detailed information about your issue like your report structure or the logic to create table or measure or share some sample data?

Thanks,

Xi Jin.

The problem lies in the ODBC Driver, it converts int type to a wrong type. Thanks very much.
