White space above and below pdf export from Power BI desktop

Hi,

When I export a report from Power BI desktop to PDF, there is a band of white space at the top and bottom of the exported file. In the example below, I have used a background image that should take up the whole page when exported, but there are white spaces above and below.

Is there any way to stop this white space appearing when exporting to PDF? Any help with this would be much appriciated.

Thanks,

Andrew

HI @Anonymous

You page size needs to be matching with the dimentions of the Image.

Hi Pranit, this doesn't seem to be the issue after a few trials. Even if I do not use a background image, and as a test just put a text box with a blue background covering the whole page, the white bands at the top and bottom do not go away. Any other ideas what this might be?

HI @Anonymous ,

Is your image Fill, Fit or Normal

Hi Harsh, it is set to Fit.

Hi @Anonymous ,

See if you have the same problem if you change the options to Fit.

Hi Harsh, I have tried all the options on that link including changing the page layout and the page size (using a custom pixel number). None of them fix the problem of the white spaces.

@Anonymous - Hmm, try setting your Canvas color to something other than the default white and see if that's what that is.

Hi Greg, thanks for your reply. I just tried this and white space is still there. The colour of the space above and below did not change.
