Which version of Windows Server 2012 R2 is best to install power bi gateway?

I need to install a power bi on-prem gateway to my virtual machine so to get the windows license for the virtual machine which varients should i choose? I came to know that Windows Server 2012 R2 has 4 varients: Datacenter / Standard / Essentials / Foundation. Can anyone help which varients should be suitable in cost efficiency and performance.

To my knowledge, each one is ok, this is just system requirements.
