Seeing the below on the February 2020 Feature Summary PowerBI Blog

Important updates –

There was a known issue that resulted in the following error:
“We weren’t able to restore the saved database to the model.”
We have now released a fix for this issue; the version number for that is 2.78.5745.0. Additionally, we’ve just fixed another issue where DirectQuery models with no credentials couldn’t be opened. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that these issues may have caused.

Download pages still point to 2.78.5740.861 (the appartenly broken version)

Hi @Anonymous ,

I was one of the persons to have the database error and placed the issue on the forum, it was publish a new version of the PBI desktop and solved the issue, however as I check now the number is not the new one but still the old one as you refer.

Problably they didn't update the version number although the version is corrected and updated.
