When will powerbi add a certified delta lake connector to access delta lake files from blob storage?

Hey there 

According to databricks delta lake and the lakehouse architecture will become a major thing in data engineering. microsoft and databricks are partners.

So I was wondering, if and when will powerbi add a certified delta file connector like the one for parquet?

The current connector solution from delta.io does not natively allow for timetravel which is a native feature in delta lake architecture. So will this be standardized etc. and when? Currently it seems like a hacky workaround.

Yes, there is an idea, but this does not solve my question. Will there be a certified delta file connector for power bi in the near future?
