Rank partially changes when applying filters

Hi,

I'm currently having a hard time figuring out why the rank changes when I apply filters.

As you can see below, I have two tables-national and regional.

When I apply the product filter, it returns 29 (for the national level) and 31 ( for the regional level). However, the national rank for the gaming consoles in the whole list is actually 28.

This sometimes happens to the regional level as well. Usually, it is off by 1.

When I select two products in the product filter, this doesn't happen...

Does anyone know why ?

I used this code

Ranking = If(HASONEVALUE('table'[column]);Rankx(all('table'[column]);

Thank you for your help!

Hi @Anonymous ,

can you share a sample Power BI file? You can share it via DropBox, One Drive, Drive or other similar tools.

Regards

Hi,

I tried to reproduce the problem with some mock data, but the filters work fine.

I don't think it is a filter problem. I'm currently testing some stuff with our real data.

Hopefully, I find what went wrong.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Deborah

Ok.

Good luck with it!
