I seem to be going round in circles trying to figure out what values i can use in my dax functions. Sometimes only table colums show up in the intelisence list when im populateing a dax function other times only measures show up and sometimes both. Is what you get dependant on the type of function? or am i doing somthing wrong.

@Anonymous,
It accepts a single value. You may specify an aggregation such as min, max, count, or sum to get a single result.

The DAX functions' arguments/parameters differ from function to function
Here are the links to DAX function Reference

thanks all. For example for SUM I can create a measure where i can pass a column to the sum function. For isblank it only seems to want to accept measure, for this one i wanted to replace balnk values but i cant do it. this is very confusing and there is no idication on the tech documentation on if they accept a column or measure?
thanks
