What's the most efficient way to create a lot of similar measures?

Hi guys!

First of all, I hope you are well.

I have a simple model that goes since 1950 to 2020 and I need to create at least 4 different measures for EVERY year. The user has to be able to compare every measure with every year as he wants.

I know I can create every measure manually but it'll be at least a couple of hours of work, because I need to create at least 280 measures.

Is there any kind of authomatism to create similar measures?

Here is an example of a couple of measures which are similar:

Temp. Avg. Max. 1950 = CALCULATE([Temp. Avg. Max.];'Calendar'[Year]=1950)
Temp. Avg. Max. 1951 = CALCULATE([Temp. Avg. Max.];'Calendar'[Year]=1951)
Temp. Avg. Max. 1952 = CALCULATE([Temp. Avg. Max.];'Calendar'[Year]=1952)
.. and so son.

Thank you for your help!!

So, no. Basially you have copy and paste available to you.

Why not create 1 measure and put it in a Table visualization with Year and then you can see all of them?

Thank you for your fast answer @Greg_Deckler .

That's a good alternative, didn't think about solving it in that way. It'll be useful.

However, measures will help to visualize the perform better in the graph than in the table.

I was looking for information about "tabular editor", which seems to be a really useful tool. I'll dig dipper on it this week 🙂
