What is wrong with my measure?

Here is my Measure:

Adjusted Water Level =
VAR WaterLevel = SUMX(Chickens,DIVIDE(Chickens[Water Level],2,0))
VAR Adjuster = CALCULATE(AVERAGE(Chickens[# of Eggs]),ALL(Chickens[Dates]))
Return
    WaterLevel + Adjuster

And here is what I get when I filter the visual:

adj.JPG

My goal was to have a measure which adjusted the feed/water level by adding the average number of eggs to it in order to see if they rise and fall together.

Any idea why calculate() is effecting my visual?

Re: What is wrong with my measure?

I think that the problem is in the all(Chickens[Dates]) in calculate filter, take it off

Re: What is wrong with my measure?

The problem is that I do want the average of all the values. Am I confused, and it will do that anyway?

Re: What is wrong with my measure?

The second VAR will always give you the same value, is that you want?

I think that your first idea actually does work! Thank you so much!
