I am new to Power BI. What is fastest learning path for learning Power BI? Is there any certification program? Are there highly recommended books or training videos available for latest version? What did you do to learn Power BI fast?
Microsoft Power BI team have made a superb YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/user/mspowerbi/videos) and there are lots of video tutorials available from basic to advanced, you can pick the video from there and can learn at your own pace. It is up to you how quickly you complete the tutorials. If you want to get Power BI Instructor-led Training, then you can find MS authorized training provider in your nearby location and get trained along with certification after completing 70-778 exam which will prove that you have earned the required knowledge and skills.
Have been trying to make a post post for three times. Without succes.
Figured id try to see if I can reply.

I will highly recommend the following courses to be taken in order to learn power bi
To begin with, I suggest that you start by looking at Power BI Guided Learning provided by Microsoft.
Since you are interested in learning through live classes, I would like to recommend Mindmajix online training which deals with fundamentals as well as some advanced concepts (POWER BI, POWER PIVOT, POWER QUERY, and Bookmarks Pane) with the help of easy examples. You can go through Mindmajix's Power BI training course curriculum.
For me, most of these replies assume too much for a beginner (like me). And I'm someone who knows lots of script languages and is a power Excel formulas and pivot features user. I find free PBi information very fractured, incomplete, and often outdated.
A single source of key resources, tutorials, case studies and many more is available here: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/34621.power-bi-survival-guide.aspx
Most of the links discussed above are also available on the same article.
Recently a free e-book was released. Check out this link:
Also the free EDX online course is great for learning.
And for the advanced DAX stuff, go to:
just follow the official powerBI website guided learning you will find videos as well as documentation, and use sample database like adventureworks in powerbi desktop and do trial and error using that database in all visuals and u can even learn about the tools and options available in powerBI desktop through videos available in guided learning. working on excel before using powerBi would be really helpful.
Just start learning by trying with hands on by yourself. Because that makes you to learn practically.
And i suggest you to look on the below link.
