What happens on my relationship on Power BI?

I have some problem when I am dealing with the many to many in a relationship. It about publishing was disabled. I already know that because of many to many then I tried to remove that relationship so the result of the report was distortion. Such as when I clicked on the slicer nothing happened on my data that aren't the same table.

My questions about why many to many makes it's not possible to publish? and if it isn't any way how can I solve this problem? Can anyone explain to me how to convert from many to many to other relationship?

I am not sure if I understood this correctly.

Let me re-phrase: You are trying to have a many to many relationship between two tables. Right? As per my knowledge, you need a bridge table in between that would have at least one column with unique records with which you can join both tables and then if you have a bi-directional filter on both sides, that may provide the desired outcome.

But I cannot confirm this without looking at the pbix file and the specific scenario.

Please let me know if you can try this approach and if it helps.

Hi @saranp780,

For your first question, the document Many to Many relationship has mentioned.

Note

The ability to create Many to Many relationships is in Preview, and while it Preview, it's not possible to publish models using Many to Many relationships to the Power BI service.

In addition, how to convert many to many relationship to other relationship, you could refer to this similar thread which has been solved.
