What do I need to do to allow end users to export reports As PDF/PPT files?

I found how to export all reports from within PowerBi Desktop to a PDF (still looking for PPT) but no way for end users to select that option. The only option that I can find is Export Data (to a CSV file).

Hi @Anonymous, ah that makes sense, the functionality isn't there fore Embedded or Publish to Web as far as I know. I notice there is an API call (in preview) which might be an option if you can get that triggered from your web application, docs below.

Export report to PDF, PPTX and PNG files using Power BI REST API (Preview) | Microsoft Power BI Blog | Microsoft Power BI

Sorry I can't think of a simpler option, I don't think there's a button you're missing somewhere

By end users do you mean in the Power BI Service? There should be options from the Export Menu, although that applies to the whole report rather than an individual visual/table (as is the case for Export Data to CSV)

If this option isn't available, it might need to be enabled in your Power BI Admin portal.

Our reports are embedded in our C# web application but I do not see that menu. Can I turn that on in the PBIX file or is that another setting somewhere else?
