Dears,
We have successfully instal this techincal preview to integrate SSRS 2016 with Power BI desktop.

May we know any warranty or Microsoft service support would be covered for techincal preview products if we purchase the SQL Server 2016 Enterprise or Professional license ?

Hi @andykmwong,
Based on Riccardo Muti ‘s comments in this blog, we don’t support installing the Technical Preview on a server that’s in production use, but you’re welcome to install it on a VM or server for evaluation use.
With the SQL Server Preview Reporting Service installed from the Technical Preview, you are able to directly render Power BI Desktop reports in the SSRS, but you are not able to directly render Power BI Desktop reports in SSRS 2016. This functionality in the technical preview will be made available in the next version of Reporting Services, for which licensing details aren’t yet available. And the team is targeting mid-2017 for a production-ready release.
Thanks,
Lydia Zhang
