What chart to use to show variance percentage?

Hello all;

 

I have a measure to show the variance between actuals and forecasts for project calculated in percentage as shown in the table chart below. Can you please advice on the best chart possible to show this visually. I have tried bar, stacked bar, etc. but does not seem to find the best chart yet.

It depends on what exactly you wish to illustrate with your chart.

If you have a target you can use a gauge as per figure below. You can set the target as percentage or number

You can also use a stacked column chart like the example below:

Thanks @carlossantiago and @MFelix for responding to my question.

 

After looking deeper into this, I think my issue is with the Infinity values. In instances where I don't have forecast for a project but I do have actual for it, my percent variance = Infinity. 

 

I have to work with business to see how do they like to remove this.

I believe that you can have several options depending how you want to show your data check out this link and see several options on the visualizations.
