What am I missing here with PARALLELPERIOD?

I have a fairly simple model and just want to create a simple PARALLELPERIOD but I have som syntax problem:

Normally I would do like this:

CALCULATE(COUNTA(Sales[Orderno]),PARALLELPERIOD(Time[Date], -12, MONTH))

But that gives me a syntax error!!? If I change it to (Using 2 commas!?):

CALCULATE(COUNTA(Sales[Orderno]),PARALLELPERIOD(Time[Date], -12,, MONTH))

It will work..

It this the expected behaviour or am I overlooking something or simply doing something wrong?

That's weird. The only thing I see in your function that is different than the documentation is that you are using MONTH instead of month but not sure if that matters.

I actually found out why.. Living in Denmark I use "," as Decimal Separator. My regional settings was set to use "," as List Separator as well. Bottom line is that it appears that is is possible to do something like this in PARALLELPERIOD:

PARALLELPERIOD(dimTid[Dato], -12,0, MONTH)

I changed my List Separator to ";" and now it looks like this:

PARALLELPERIOD(dimTid[Dato];-12; MONTH)

Just as expected. But the interesting/surprising thing is that the interval do NOT have to be an integer so this is possible as well:

PARALLELPERIOD(dimTid[Dato];-12,5; MONTH)
