Weekdays in the tooltip of drill down column chart

I have a column chart with a couple of drill down levels, like months and days,

Is there a way to make tooltip fields dynamic so that it would only show weekday names when on a day level. It feels like broken really, when it picks the "first" weekday name to show on a month column tooltip. There is no point in showing weekdays on a month column. But it would be really important to show on a day.

I would suggest you create a tooltip page and add the below measure.

WeekDayTooltip =
IF (
    ISFILTERED ( 'DimDate'[Datekey].[Day] ),
    WEEKDAY ( MIN ( 'DimDate'[Datekey] ), 2 ),
    BLANK ()
)
