Webscraping ASPX page: high difficulty

Hello community,

I was trying to use Power Query/Get and Transform to connect to an ASPX webpage and import from it the excel file given as output after fill in some forms.

After some searching, the only tutorial I found was from Huang Caiguang in his blog post (https://pqfans.com/207.html).
The problem seems to be the parameters as __EVENTTARGET, __VIEWSTATE, among others that are sent to the website containing the information about the forms.
Obs: There is no API available from this website.

Has anyone also tried to do something similar and that could share the solution/approach?

Thanks in advance!

@AndreLuiz ,

If web.page() function doesn't work, I would suggest you to use python script instead.

Hello Matt,
Looking more carefully, it seems that what is needed is a custom connector, because there is a need to first log in the website, fill in some forms which loads another page with more forms, etc, until the excel folder is gives as output.
I think that the case in which no login is needed might be solved with the resource you indicated.
