Hi,
I am receiving the message "Unable to open document: We weren't able to restore the saved database to the model". I could not find an aswwer dfor this, yesterday I saved and closed my .pbix file and now I could not open any more, how to sort it out to avoid losing one week of work.
I am using the latest version on PBI Desktop trying many times to open but nothing.
Thanks,
Hi @DouglasBrito,
The .pbix file might be broken which caused the failure to open. But you can get the auto saved file which saved the most recent updates of your file under recovered folder.
Best regards,
Yuliana Gu
Hi @DouglasBrito,
Currently, were you able to open the .pbix file with a previous desktop version?
Actually, enabling "Auto recovery" would save the last update version automatically which can avoid losing a huge amount of work. But, in your scenario, it looks like the .pbix file is broken.
Regards,
Yuliana Gu
