I am trying to build a waterfall chart that shows me first the bottom 5 (worsts) categories, group other loses, group gains, and than show top 5 categories. I have done that on excel.
On my dataset I have 61 itens different categories. Currently, I have hit this one (donw bellow) that it is all most what I want. I am using the default Waterfall visual. However, it makes a breakdown call “Other” that group gain and loses, which is not my desire. Also, It shows breakdown by magnitude, I have more itens that gain but it only showed one.
I thought to create I new column based on RANK function to achieve my goals, but I do not know how to that because this table have relationship to others, so I guess it will not be dynamically once a filter per month or year. Does anyone has a tip how I could do that?
Thanks in advance.
Hi @Anonymous ,
Can you please share a sample information or a copy of your PBI file?
Using the normal visualization the result is what you get currently so all together in a single one. Believe this cvan be achieved making a similar approach I did on this post:
