I've isolated two tables from my data model into a new PBIX file(see below) in here, this is what I exactly wanted because I wanted to know that the employee is present but without items sold.
I've got the same setup in my "live" file although there are other tables in my data model, these two tables are detached from any other tables, except that they are both connected to each other via the date_employee key (the same as the one below).
The only problem I'm getting is that I am missing the blank entries in my "live" file, the Table visual is on a clean page already without any slicers/filters.
I am now not sure what is going on, is it because I have other tables(although) detached may influence the outcome that I expected? Please help ... again. Thank you.
I can't seem to upload in OneDrive so here's my simulated PBIX file in Google Drive
Solved! Go to Solution.
Is this what you are trying to achieve?
Items Sold Measure = SUM(sold_items[items_sold]) + 0

Hahaha, Is that it? Tried complex solutions but this one actually worked, I can't explain why...
Turning blanks into zeroes is not the problem, the problem was the blanks appear on the simulation but it does not on the main file... and everything was exactly the same... and yet when I tried your suggestion - it actually worked!
I usually ask for help after trying for solutions on my own - I just never thought the "+ 0" is the answer
thanks @Sean
