@bhuprakash , You already have employee master create a date table with Month, Qtr, year etc and use that.
You need to use Matrix
To get the best of the time intelligence function. Make sure you have a date calendar and it has been marked as the date in model view. Also, join it with the date column of your fact/s. Refer :

it's really very knowledgefull video that was helpful answering for many questions regarding date time measures -
I am trying to apply the same but it is not coming correctly and date is not coming with activity counts.

In the same data, if I am putting a filter of month from Date table then (Blank) is also coming with month name -
as you can see in below screenshot. How can I remove that ?
