Want to negative values to be subtracted in respective segment

Hi,

I have data as follows:

SegValueCat

Furniture100chairs
Gadget200mobile
Furniture300table
Gadget-150tv
Furniture-200fan
Gadget400Laptop
Furniture-300Book Case
Gadget-200Tab
Furniture300Sofa
Gadget200Router

I need to show above data in pie chart only. So I have added seg column to Legend, Cat to details and Value to Values. I'm getting pie chart as follows:

I want negative values to be subtracted from respective segments. When I sum up the Gadget segment the total must be equal to 450(i.e, 400+200+200-200-150) and Furniture Segment must be 200 (i.e, -300+100-200+300+300)

Please help me to do.

Thanks,

AshDil

Hi @AshDil ,

To my knowledge, negative values are not supported in Pie or Donut charts.

If you want this in power bi, let the power bi community to know this things and give your votes at power bi site's feedback - Ideas

I'd suggest you use drill through to get Cat in details as shown below:

@AshDil , when you show sum(Table[Value]), by segment it should do that ?

Hi @amitchandak,

Yes I want values at Segment level but I need to show Cat in details.

Thanks,

AshDil
