Want bar chart selection to persist even when hidden in bookmark

I would appreciate help in configuring bar chart item selection in a bookmark and having it persist even when hidden in a bookmark.

I have a page where the left side has several stacked bar charts (concept ratings). The right side has many bar charts of EITHER dog/cat profile OR owner profile. The toggle button at the top is linked to bookmarks which have one of the two profile chart sets hidden. Ideally, the user could select any profile characteristics (e.g. dog is Tiny or Small) and all the other charts on the page will respond. This works. Ideally, they could then toggle to the other profile to see info about owners of tiny or small dogs. In other words, a selection made on one profile would carry through to the other profile. However, all the selections clear when switching profiles.

If the user selects a bar on the left side, then that selection DOES persist. For example, they could select dark green bar in Purchase Intent and all the dog/cat profile charts reflect the selection, then they toggle bookmarks to owner profile and all those reflect the selection. The stacked bar charts on the left side are visible in both bookmarks though.

For both bookmarks, Display, Current page, and All visuals are the only options selected.

Get rid of your toggle button and present the user with a more familiar slicer interface. Show two slicers if needed. Then the data model will do the work for you, and you don't need the bookmarks.
