Hello,
I have the following issue. I want to visualize an internal revenue cohort in Power BI, but in form of a line chart and not a matrix.
The line chart should look like this:
- Y-Axis: YYYY-MM our customers were signed
- X- Axis: YYYY-MM our customers generated revenue
- Values: Revenue generated by Month
However, it does not seem possible to define the 2 Axis in the line chart visual and have a different measure for the value. The Y-Axis shows automatically the scale of the value.
Can anyone help with this? Or is there a another line chart visual that allows such thing?
Thanks
Hi JH,
You said "it does not seem possible to define the 2 Axis in the line chart visual ", in line chart just drag two columns in axis field. In addtion, what does "shows automatically the scale" mean? Could you please provide some more details or examples about that?
Regards,
Jimmy Tao
Hi Jimmy,
Thanks for your reply
When I drag two collumns in the axis field, only one is displayed as the X axis. I created a fake example to illustrate: I need to have the date were customers were signed in the Y Axis and keep the date when customers generated revenue in the X-Axis. Finally, my values are amount revenue generated. You can see in the example below, that the Y-Axis shows instead the scale of the amount of revenue generated.
