Visual Interaction - Highlighting

I have created several column charts on one page.  In the chart below you'll see three companies, when I click on company B, I want to see Company B's metrics in the other charts on the page.  So when I highlight and click on Company B in the bottom chart below I can see Company B, but I'm wondering why Company A and Z in my top chart, dim out and show 0%.  I want it to dim, but is there a way for it to dim and not default to 0, when there is clearly a value?  Seems misleading.

@kshuford when it is cross highlighting, it is showing how much the portion of selected value, if you hover over on top chart, you will in toolip, it will show original value and highlighted value. Data labels goes to 0 becuase there is no value for selected company.
