Variances on matrix tables

Guys,hopefully an easy one ! I have  a matrix as shown below - all I want is for the variances to show once to the right of the 2018 sales value. How do I get rid of the blanks beside 2017

Turn off column header word wrapping.

Shrink the columns until they do not display.

Thought that was going to be a good 'fudge' but unfortunately doesnt suit . When I drilldown to look at the quarters it brings up variances by quarter which again I dont want to see. If I try to hide it messes with the layout of the table ......

After my test, I'm afraid it couldn't achieve in Power BI for now.

If you want to use drilldown, it would display again. and matrix is also not supported add custom column or row.

For your requirement, you could post your new idea in Power BI ideas and make this feature coming sooner.
