Using Microsoft VSTS, I've created a report that shows a parent-child hierarchy. Epics being parents, Features being level 2 leaf, and backlogs are level 3. I've also created a burndown / burnup chart that shows the team's overall performance. Everything looks good so far but when I click on an EPIC title, my burndown and burnup charts aren't filtering and showing me the data I wish to perceive. The result that I'm getting is just a dot on my Area chart.
The top picture is my result and the bottom picture is what I'm expecting still after I choose an EPIC.
I was thinking that my relationship but everything seems to be in it's place:
