VERSION 2.80.5808.0 FREEZING

Hello

I've seen previous conversations about previous versions of the Power BI Desktop freeze, so I followed the discussion tips and uninstalled the current version I had,(version 2.79.5774.0) and installed the latest version (2.80.5808.0) but I still have this problem.

I open the program and it's ok. Then I select my pbix file (no matter which one) and it opens and runs for about 10 seconds, then it says Power Bi isn't responding (without me doing anything) and then it freezes. I can't move MY MOUSE or do anything. I can't even get to Task Manager to close the program. I have to press the power button to turn off my computer. This happens even if Power Bi is the only program running.

It's been a few days and I'm super frustrated. I hope to be able to resolve this issue before my next meeting.

Firstly, please check whether your operating system and hardware meet the minimum requirements (the better the hardware, the faster the running speed). Secondly, please check the performance of pbix files, which will affect the running speed of PBI Desktop.Try to improve report performance.

While using Power BI desktop to create a Power BI report, you can use the Windows Task Manager to review the current memory footprint of the report.
