Using percentage in a guage

Can't get my head around this...

What I want to do is create a percentage guage of the 256 over total records 2300.  The percentage should work out at about 11% and I want this 11% to be shown as the guage reading with a target of 8%.

How do I get from the table below to a guage which shows the percentage value of the Y records below?

You can also use the built-in Guage visual by dragging proper measures into it.

Have you worked out which visual you would like to use?

On the "From Store" button you can get access to some extra visuals, one called a Tachometer should achieve what you are attempting.

To achieve that, after downloading the visual, you would simply need to:

  • Create a measure that simply returns count when BHLD Y/N Flag = yes.  I have put an example below
  • Place the measure in Value box
  • Place [Order] column into End Value and set as count
  • Create a measure to calculate your Target value, which you have indicated is 8% in this example.  I don't know how you arrive at 8% so hopefully its easy for you to create.
Y Flag Count = CALCULATE(
	CountRows ('YourTable'[Order]),
	'YourTable'[BHLD Y/N Flag] = "Y"
)

Thanks so much I'll look at the Tachometer and may be it's a good/better way!
